Altaris has the experience to analyze, identify, and measure workplace hazards that can cause sickness, impaired health, or discomfort to workers through chemical, physical, ergonomic, or biological exposures. We have successfully implemented engineering, work practice, and administrative controls as the primary means of reducing employee exposure to occupational hazards. Performing IH monitoring, including direct, real-time analyses and indirect methods for airborne contaminants, noise and heat.
Altaris can perform industrial hygiene workplace exposure assessments which include both qualitative and quantitative analysis of your work place.
Altaris will ensure that NIOSH validated methods for air sampling are utilized and will utilize AIHA accredited laboratories for laboratory analysis. Altaris has conducted surveys for numerous organic and particulate compounds for compliance with OSHA chemical specific standards, OSHA permissible exposure limits and American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienist (ACGIH) recommended threshold limit values.
Altaris can conduct noise contour studies with both sound level meter and octave band analyzers (for identification of engineering control requirements) and personnel noise dosimetry for compliance with the OSHA hearing conservation standard.
